BACK WHERE I BELONG

The last living tree

Ok so this verse is about… TREES! Where birds and wild life thrive and I refer to the sound of the wind through the branches…

Here I begin to emphasise the role that trees play, … like OXYGEN!!! The Jewellers are the people that cut them up, referring to the loggers and companies that Clear the forests for profit.

Gets a bit obscure here … the companies trashing the forest didn’t care about the concerns of the thousands of people that were beginning to challenge the “rightness” of what
they were doing, and how many generations would continue the fight against them? Would it make any Difference? Would the campaigners eventually fade as Globalism advances? … ok it’s a bit heavy but it was a Theme that a lot of people were working on at the time and it didn’t feel out of place. NOW it seems quite lost as a song but I know that some people still relate to it.
